Sports With or Without Fans

The world is at a very boring place right now without fans and that is very evident by ESPN, Fox, and several other major organizations are replaying the best sports games in history.

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to keep us from playing live sports, there has been a lot of conversation about when sports will return and the matter in which they will return in.

A USA Today article explains the roller coaster ride that it has been for athletes and their view on playing without fans.

Arguably the most prominent athlete in the world, Lebron James, has had a change of heart on playing without fans.

Originally Lebron said there is no way that he is playing without fans. However, now he has had a change of thought.

Despite Lebron stating that he “plays for the fans” he has realized what the circumstances are and understands what is best.

Playing without fans is definitely going to be a weird change but being able to see live sporting games being played can do a lot for morale in this dark time.

Sports are one of the most powerful, driving forces in all of the world and not having sports in the world has left a major void.

The Daily Beast explains how disappointing it really is to not have sports.

Primarily highlighting the loss of one of the largest sporting events of every year, the NCAA Basketball Tournaments.

Having to lose both the men and women’s tournaments is a huge blow for the country and the effects are felt both in the sports world and the economy.

A world without fans at sporting events is certainly not where we want to be at, but at this point in time I think it is something that everyone should accept and want.

The world needs sports, and if we can get them back, even without fans, we need to do everything we can to make that happen.
